this and that...

Breaking all the rules and having pancakes for dinner..it's kind of a monthly tradition and one called for during school holidays.

Ever so slowly making my way through a back log of magazines..time is poor these days.

Familiarising myself with a new toy..let me tell you it's caused quite a bit of frustration thus far.

When creating a little studio space for myself a cosy reading nook was a must..pity it hasn't had much use yet.

Rearranging, sorting and tossing..Spring brings out the cleaning beast in me, nothing is safe!

A friend and I missed out by a day signing up for this year's Advent Swap..we decided to do one between the two of us, I'm really looking forward to it.

Coffee seems to be the beverage of choice these days..when one is burning the candle at both ends it sure does help.

Hoping your Thursday is a wonderful one.

Oooh, I like the sound of pancakes for dinner. Great holiday treat.
Good luck with the overlocker. I am still getting to know mine. I only do hems and nothing else. I'm a bit scared to venture into anything else. When using my maching today I had to re-thread part of it. I almost went in a spin thinking how I was going to do it, but I fluked my way there. Must do a WEA course I think.

Your little space is lovely. I spy a couple of additions that look right at home there.
i need to read my latest mags too. i have a quick browse when I get them but lately haven't actually gotten a chance to sit down and read them.
And like the look of your new toy.

Loved seeing some snippets of life over your way :) Spring cleaning is happening here too (albeit slowly) and I have a few magazines I've yet to find the time to flick through :)

Hi Tammi your space is looking lovely. I have only just started sewing and have to admit that an overlocker looks very intimidating. I still have yet to change the needle on my machine :)
We have finally finished spring cleaning, but I am falling behind on my spring planting.

Ah yes, coffee. I do like tea, but I think coffee is my true love. Tea, while pleasant, lacks that punch that coffee has. So envious of your cute reading nook. If only I had the space for that! So glad to see you back here Tammi :)

Oh Tammi, I always love your warm and inviting images. Your reading nook looks so lovely, what a shame you haven't bunked down and enjoyed it's loveliness yet. Pancakes for dinner sounds totally wonderful to me... and they look scrumptious all topped with banana, Mmmm my tummy is grumbling.
Hope you have a great weekend xo

Love the pics...your home seems so much clamer (and neater) than mine lol! Know the frustration of the overlocker...goodness they are hard to thread!
Those pancakes look divine...thanks for sharing some inspiration with us!

We like to break the rules during holidays, my kids would love pancakes for dinner! I also have a new toy and its causing me a few little headaches.... Slowly getting used to mine. I've been sewing from my mums machine which is 40 years old and loved it. But it's wearing out tension struggling so invested in a modern machine, I do miss my mums old solid machine. Have a great weekend:)

At first glance, I thought it was a patty. I was wrong. And when I was scrolling down the comments, That's when I knew it is a pancake. But it looks delicious though.
